    MISSION STATEMENT

Main Street First is an organization of residents of Little Falls, as well as other
stakeholders in the cultural and commercial life of our city.

Main Street First does not act on behalf of any individual business in Little Falls
but is dedicated to the interests of our residents in preserving and revitalizing
the Little Falls City Center.


The Mission of Main Street First is threefold:

To encourage and promote economic growth that is both 'smart growth' and
fiscally-responsible growth, in order to preserve the unique character of Little Falls
while diligently protecting our tax base

To oppose the development of a second commercial center on the outskiorts of
Little Falls, which would lead to the unintended consequence of economic
devastation in the city center.

To function as a citizen watchdog group that ensures that the City of Little Falls
plans for the economic revitalization of Little Falls in a fully open and
transparent manner.
